Recipient Invitation & Forwarding Policy
Last Updated: March 16, 2026
This policy governs invitations, referrals, gift notifications, share links, and other recipient communications sent using Zerate.
1. Sender Responsibility
When you invite, share with, or send communications to others through Zerate, you are solely responsible for ensuring recipients have a reasonable expectation of receiving such communications or that another lawful basis exists for the communication.
Zerate does not pre-verify recipient consent for every message. The individual or business initiating the communication is responsible for compliance with applicable laws.
2. Prohibited Activities
Users must not send invitations or promotional communications to:
- purchased, rented, or scraped email lists;
- recipients without any prior relationship or lawful basis for contact;
- recipients who have opted out or asked not to be contacted; or
- random or mass recipients lacking a reasonable expectation of receiving the communication.
Automated, bot-driven, or scripted invitation activity is prohibited.
3. Forwarding Features
If Zerate provides a feature allowing recipients to forward a gift, coupon, or offer, the original recipient is responsible for forwarding only to people who would reasonably expect or welcome the communication.
4. Compliance with Laws
Senders must comply with applicable anti-spam laws, data protection requirements, and Zerate's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Email Marketing Compliance Policy, and Anti-Fraud & Abuse Policy.
5. Consequences
Violations may result in suspension, termination, cancellation of rewards, or other remedial action at Zerate's discretion.
