Referral Program Terms

These Referral Program Terms govern participation in any Zerate referral, invite, share, advocate, or similar program (collectively, a "Referral Program") offered by Zerate or by a business sender using Zerate's platform.
1. Program Overview
A Referral Program may provide incentives, rewards, credits, discounts, or other benefits ("Referral Rewards") to users who invite, share, or refer others to Zerate or to a participating business's products or services. Specific program details, eligibility, reward values, and terms are set forth in the applicable program rules and may vary by campaign.
2. Eligibility
Participation may require that you:
- have a valid Zerate account or participant profile;
- meet any minimum age, residency, or other eligibility requirements;
- not be an employee, contractor, or affiliate of Zerate or the program sponsor (unless the program expressly permits employee participation); and
- comply with any additional eligibility criteria specified by the program.
3. Earning Referral Rewards
To earn a Referral Reward:
- the referred person must meet the program's qualifying actions (e.g., sign up, complete a purchase, claim an offer);
- both the referrer and the referred person must comply with all program terms;
- the referral must be made through the designated referral mechanism; and
- the referral must not involve fraud, self-referral, or policy violations.
4. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is prohibited:
- self-referrals or referring accounts you own or control;
- creating multiple accounts to earn additional rewards;
- purchasing, selling, or transferring referrals or referral codes;
- using paid advertising to promote a personal referral link unless expressly authorized;
- spamming or sending unsolicited invitations to recipients who do not expect or welcome them;
- using automated bots, scripts, or other unauthorized tools to generate referrals;
- misrepresenting your relationship with Zerate or the business sponsor; and
- any other activity that violates the Referral Program terms, Zerate policies, or applicable law.
5. Reward Issuance, Limits, and Expiration
- Rewards are typically issued after the referred user completes the required qualifying action and any waiting or verification period.
- Rewards may be subject to limits per referrer, per campaign, or per time period.
- Rewards may expire if not used within the time period specified.
- Rewards have no cash value unless required by law.
6. Fraud and Clawback
Zerate and program sponsors reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity and to cancel, withhold, reverse, or claw back rewards obtained through fraud, abuse, error, or policy violation. Accounts involved in fraud may be suspended or terminated.
7. No Guarantee
Zerate does not guarantee that Referral Programs will continue to be offered, that rewards will always be available, or that any particular level of benefit will be provided.
8. Modification and Termination
Zerate and program sponsors may modify, suspend, or terminate any Referral Program at any time, with or without notice.
9. Taxes
Recipients of rewards may be responsible for any applicable taxes.
10. Related Policies
Participation is subject to Zerate's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Anti-Fraud & Abuse Policy, Recipient Invitation & Forwarding Policy, and any campaign-specific rules.
